About Lane County Court Records

Court and public-record access in Lane County, Kansas, runs through a small set of offices in Dighton and several statewide Kansas systems. The Lane County District Court handles court case files, the sheriff handles local jail and warrant questions, and KDHE, KBI, KDOC, and KDOR handle specialized state records.

Why We Built This Site

Kansas gives the public ways to inspect many court and county records, but Lane County does not publish a separate local case portal, jail roster, warrant list, or large records center. Most court records start with Kansas CaseSearch or the Lane County Clerk of the District Court in Dighton. Some records are not court records at all. Marriage and divorce certificates come from KDHE. Criminal history checks come from KBI. Prison and supervision information comes from KDOC. Driver records come from KDOR.
